The homie Merrick Hanna has been featured on this season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” and we couldn’t be more stoked to support the little bro! Seeing the progression of the 12 year old over the last few years having been trained by some of the best poppers on the West Coast (Popping John, Omeed (The Body Poets), Kid Boogie, and Cameron Green). While his influence started at the age of 8 watching the Jabbawockeez on America’s Best Dance Crew, Merrick has taken his mentor and personal training to a whole new level.
Watching his storytelling performance on the live show of America’s Got Talent last night, we saw an even greater maturity in Merrick’s performance on stage. Telling the story of a “lost boy” without a family but relating how important his family is to himself, Merrick delivers an “interstellar performance” to America!
